We Are The NFL!!!

(Nerds For Life!! *snort*) We are the NFL squad! You have to get at least 104% on all of your tests to join. We all decided to take a picture of all of us to show how smart we all are. We are so cool! (Jacob's sign says "I'm Goob!" He misspelled it, though. He put Gob. Hopefully he doesn't do that on his tests!) I have to run the mile tommorow, so hopefully I will get a good score.

Mom wants to join too, but we said she's too old. Now she's mad.

Dad wanted to join too, and got all dressed up for the occasion. Even though he had his math book, Jacob and me turned him down.

Ashley didn't though, and because she's the beautiful princess, she got what she wanted.

The Long Anticipated Answers To The Game Quiz!

Finally we get to find out if a Nintendo DS game can survive a trip throught the washing machine! In one corner of the ring we have:

And in the other corner:

ThE fInAl AnSwEr Is............ YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Incredably, it still worked! Here's the story.
We found in our car, a video game from nowhere! (If you own this famous game, come and claim it!) I put it in my pocket, and forgot to take it out. It showed up a couple of months later, and it had been in the washer, found in the dryer. I popped it in the DS to see if it still worked, and incredebly, it still works! Sooo, if this is yours, please come and get this game. (If you can't see the name, it is Pirates of the Carabean Dead's Man Chest)0.

New CHINCHURRO (TM) Cage

Awsomesauce! We got a new awsome chinchilla cage! It is huge, and there is plenty of space for him to run aroung in.

He is very excited about it. He sleeps in his ferret bed WAY more than you think he would. We got his new cage for a reason, but you have to wait until NOVEMBER 12-15 to find out. (HoPeFuLlY tHe TwElTh!) We now discover that my chinchilla follows me when I play my clarinet. He will run fast towards me! He is so awsome. We keep finding the little things that hold the cage together in differnet places in his cage, even though they should be on the bottom.

Yurdle The Turtle!

Ever heard of a Texas Spiny Softshell Turtle? We have. Our dad called us and said "I'm coming home with a turtle." We thought small desert turtle. We were wrong. (I thought I had a better picture of him, but I guess not.) This is what we found when we came home.

My dad found him on the middle of Wood Road. We brought him to Pet Co. to see if they knew anything about him. One employee had no clue what this little guy was, and one wasn't sure. They gave him some feeder fish in case he ate fish. He did. (He only ate the one fish that wasn't exactly the brightest fish in the world. The fish kept hiding under the Turtle's mouth) We got him on sunday, and the turtle shelter was closed for Sunday and Monday. Let me tell you that this little guy is almost as bad as the chinchilla. He can run a lot faster than you think, and he can go under the couch too. He will be in one place, you leave him for a minute, and he's in a whole other room! We gave him away because he requires a TON of care, that we unfortunatly cannot fufill. We all miss Yurdle the Turtle, but we were glad to be able to save his life. (Just saying, Yurdle is a GIRL, and not a BOY, and I just realized that I typed him a bunch, and I don't want to fix it.)

Gone For A While!

So Sorry about not posting for a long time! I got back from scout camp, and we couldn't get the pictures till we turned them in. (I used a disposable Camera) Then, we found Yurdle ( Another Story for another day), and my parents started to change out the computers, and we left for disneyland. Then, we finally got the upstairs computer working (with the pictures) but the internet wasn't working. Yay. So I'm hopefully going to post about Yurdle and all our other stuff soon.

Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?

Yesterday my friend took me to a taping of Smarter than a fifth grader. We drove down to L.A. When we got there, we got to sit on the balcony above the fifth graders, so we got to cheat whenever we didn't know the question. We saw two different people come and audition, plus, we got to see a bunch of other stuff that was behind the scenes. At the beginning, I got to see Jeff Foxworthy and the kids doing the catwalk. There were a few other things fun things, like there was a funny guy that you don't see on T.V. We heard a few funny stories from them, and even heard them singing! On T.V., you hear noises when they press the button, or you hear the music playing. In the live show, all you hear is a bang! The director wasn't as funny, he was all serious. We had to sit the a bunch of safety shots, which is where they re-do a scene in case they had a bad camera angle. Since we had to wait, we got lots of free candy! It was really fun, even though I had to dress up nicely.

Busted!

I have a pet chinchilla named Churro. We let him run around the kitchen every couple of days. We have to Chinchilla proof the house before he can get out, so he doesn't escape. Recently, he has been attacking our poor walls and ledges! We have to try to scare him off, and we thought that we have been doing a good job, too. Apparantly, we haven't.

Also, we found our T.V. remote like this:

Oh, the poor walls and T.V. remotes! The horror!

Here is the guitly convict:

Dance Festival is Over!

The dance festival is finally over! Me and the deacons were dancing the getcha head in the game dance from High School Musical. In the begining, all the deacons were a bit sceptical about our dance, as no one in my group liked HSM. In the end, though, we all had a great time performing in front of everybody. I already miss the dance festival, even though it's only been a couple of
days. The one thing I won't miss is the long practices. On Thursday, we were gone for 15 hours, and only practiced our dances 5 or 6 times! Another thing that i was frusterated about was that in the first dance on friday, all the deacons, preists, and teachers were left out. They said sorry by giving us free ice cream coupons!

On thursday, we went to the movies. The two choices were space chimps or journy to the center of the earth. I saw space chimps, which I give a 6 out of 10. It would be a good movie for little kids. It was short, and on the planet that the chimps went to, all the aliens were pink and blue. The dangerous thing that everybody was scared of was the Freznar! *Spoilers* ( If you are going to watch the movie, skip this paragragh!) There was a big, mean alien that everybody didn't like. A satalite from earth crashed onto the big mean guys house. He turned it into a giant robot, and dipped everybody into the Freznar. Freznar is like liquid nitrogen; if your dipped into it, you freeze! In the end, the big mean alien was dipped into the Freznar, and everybody was saved! It was funny in some parts, and sometimes it was a little boring. It was still o.k., overall
